You want to DM people on Twitter but they donโ€™t respond

๐Ÿ’กย Solution

โ—
Send a highly personalized DM by an account the receiver recognizes and that looks trustworthy

๐Ÿ”—ย Quick links

ย

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธย Steps

Create a personalized DM Template

๐Ÿ’ก
A short, personalized DM with a couple paragraphs should do it. Make sure the offer is clear and make it about the receiver, not you.
notion image
Personalization: Personalize the message (e.g add the name)
Elephant in the room: Make it less awkward by addressing that you donโ€™t DM people often
Context: Explain who you are and what youโ€™re doing that makes you reach out
Offer: What can you give the receiver?
Call-To-Action: Give them a clear action to take if they want to
Adress Objection: Address possible objections before they come up

Make sure it gets delivered

๐Ÿ’ก
In order to act people need to read
Follow the account
Donโ€™t sell in the first message (or send link)
Donโ€™t send more than 200 DMs per day
Engage with the receiver before you send a DM
Stay away from tools for mass DMing

Create trust

๐Ÿ’ก
This is more or less your standard Twitter profile hygiene but here we go
Have a solid number of followers (> 300)
Use a real photo
Have a good bio that aligns with your offer
Be active on Twitter, ideally with social proof on tweets (# of likes)
ย

๐Ÿ†ย Outcomes

๐Ÿ”ฅ
Your cold DM with: 1. Personalization 2. Elephant in the room 3. Context 4. Offer 5. CTA 6. Adressed Objection
