Source a list of relevant domains that have similar content to yours
Open Ahrefs or a similar tool that shows you broken links to any site
Locate Page > Best By Links in the left side navigation or use this link
Enter the site you want to analyze for backlinks at the top

Filter by 404 as the status code
Identify broken links to pages on the target site that your content fill
Press the green arrow on the right side of the url you want to replace (you need similar content for this to work)
Press backlinks from the menu that appears after pressing the green arrow
Identify opportunities by looking at the sites that link to this 404 page
Add the linking site and the URL to the table in the outcome section below
